ACCESSIBILITY →

The game is for
everyone.

We are working to make the Nigeria Netball Federation website easier to access, understand and use for as many people as possible.

Last updated: September 2026

OUR PRINCIPLE

Accessibility is part of participation. Information about the Federation and the game should be available to people with different abilities, circumstances, devices and ways of accessing digital content.

01

Our commitment

The Nigeria Netball Federation is committed to improving the accessibility of its digital platforms and making information about netball easier for people to find, understand and use.

We recognise that people interact with websites in different ways. Some visitors may use assistive technologies, keyboard navigation, mobile devices, screen readers, browser tools or other methods to access digital information.

02

A website designed to be usable

We aim to build and maintain the website with clear content, consistent navigation, readable typography and interfaces that can be used across a range of devices and screen sizes.

As the website develops, accessibility will remain part of how we approach design, content, technology and user experience.

03

Content and readability

We aim to present information in a clear and structured way, using headings, paragraphs, links and other content elements consistently.

We also aim to avoid unnecessary complexity and make important information easier to identify and understand.

04

Images and visual information

Images are an important part of how the Federation tells stories and communicates the game. Where appropriate, we aim to provide meaningful alternative text or surrounding context so that important information is not available only through imagery.

Decorative visual elements are treated differently from images that communicate information.

05

Navigation and interaction

We aim to make navigation predictable and interactions straightforward across the website.

Where practical, interactive elements such as menus, links, forms and other controls should provide clear indications of what they do and where they lead.

06

Mobile and different devices

People access information in different places and on different devices. We therefore design the website to work across desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices.

We continue to review how pages, navigation, imagery and interactive elements behave at different screen sizes.

07

Accessibility and third-party content

Some information or services accessed through this website may be provided by third parties, including external websites, platforms, embedded services or linked resources.

Those services operate independently of the Nigeria Netball Federation and may have their own accessibility features, standards and limitations.

08

Documents and downloadable material

Some Federation information may be provided through documents, publications or other downloadable materials.

We aim to improve the accessibility of these materials as they are created or updated. Where a document presents an accessibility difficulty, please contact us so that we can understand the issue and consider an alternative way of providing the information.

09

When something does not work

No website is perfect, and accessibility can be affected by technology, content, browser settings, third-party services and other circumstances.

If you encounter a page, feature, document or piece of content that is difficult to access or use, we want to know about it.

Your feedback helps us identify practical improvements and prioritise accessibility as the website continues to develop.

10

How to contact us

If you experience an accessibility problem or need information in an alternative format, please contact the Nigeria Netball Federation.

When contacting us about an accessibility issue, please tell us the page or information involved and, where possible, describe what made it difficult to access or use.

11

Continuing to improve

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As the Nigeria Netball Federation grows its digital presence, we will continue to identify opportunities to improve the experience of people accessing our information and services.

We welcome constructive feedback from players, coaches, officials, supporters, partners and members of the wider community.

OUR COMMITMENT →

More people in. More people in the game.

Building Nigerian netball means creating opportunities for people to discover the sport, participate in it, develop through it and contribute to its future.

Making information accessible is part of that work.
